Peak Current Control Method, Valley current control method and average current control method

I am not familiar with the term Valley Current Control Method. Can you define or describe it in more detail?

Hi John,

I read valley current control on paper, it does not give much detail. Here it is what it says, valley currrent control uses the minimum point of the sensed curent to compare with a reference.

I can't think of any ICs that do that at the moment.

Thanks for your reply. I know there are ICs that can do both peak current and average current mode control, so I was tryting to find valley current control IC.
