VSTOR pin in error on BQ25504 battery charger!

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25504

Hi all,

I'm using a BQ25504 battery charger, integrated on two differents OEM designs and I have a problem with the VSTOR pin value.

Working conditions are as follow :

- over voltage is set at 3,75V,

- under voltage is set at 2,2V,

- battery voltage is 3,3V,

- solar cell is producing energy (Vin voltage is around 400mV and produced current is 20uA),

- and unfortunately, VSTOR voltage is around 1,5V !!! (under the brown-out voltage of our MCU MSP430F538 that can not boot)

Under these conditions, battery voltage is stalled at 3,3V (no more charging).

The only way to solve the problem is to open the load circuitry for a couple of millisecondes. When the load is connected back, VSTOR is well at 3,3V (equal to the battery voltage) and battery is charging good (reaching the over voltage set at 3,75V).

What could it set the BQ25504 in this errating mode???

Thanks a lot for your reactivity.
