We would like to make a constant current source of nominally 1 ampere. Input voltage would be 12 volts. Output voltage would range from about 2.5 volts to 10 volts. Is it possible to use the LM25011 with the current limit resistor set for a maximum current of about 1 amp and the voltage limit set to 10 volts (or even higher)? I have gotten positive results with the evaluation board. I'm concerned that there might be a problem I'm not aware of in this configuration. Thank you.
