Amplfied high speed glitches at Output of TPS63000

Hi,

We are debugging a 3rd party board which powers a SoC's 2.5V rail with a TPS63000 from a 5V input to the board.

We have noticed a high-speed(~ 5 MHz) transient glitch of 700 mV on the 5V to the TPS63000 shows up as a 1.5V pk-pk glitch( ~ 4-5 MHz)

at the 2.5V output. Just wondering if such behavior is plausible under high speed transients on the 5V input to the TPS63000.?

Any pointers to better understand this issue will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Something that high frequency must be traveling through parasitic paths on the PCB or through the common ground. There is no way the TPS63000 has the control loop bandwidth to amplify such a fast signal.

Have you seen such glitches in the case where there were parasitic paths or load transients causing TPS63000 to be unstable?

If so, It will be much appreciated if you can point us to where on the board relative to the TPS63000 the parasitic or common mode paths may be.
