Will this design work?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5576

I am trying to get power to 6 series high power LEDs (Cree XMLs) at the end of a 1000m coax cable which is also streaming composite video back up the cable. Does the following design seem like it would work? I am going for a high voltage lower current source at the top end of the cable to minimize losses through it, and then convert this high voltage into a lower voltage higher current to power the LEDs.

I already know the streaming video part works which is not included on this schematic. Any critique or suggestions would be great.

The large IC is a LM5576 Buck converter.

Schematic is attached.
