LMR64010 / LM27313 FB divider network

Hi,

the datasheet specifies a divider current of 92 uA, which is achieved by having R2 = 13.3 k. I was wondering how critical this value is. In order to reduce unique BOM count, I would like to use a 12 k resistor (and 91k for R1; Vout=10.55V). This gives a divider current of 102,5 uA. What are the consequences of doing this?

Hello Hans,

I don't see a problem with choosing 12k bottom resistor. You would have a few more micro amps of standby current on the output.

Hans,

There are really no consequences to either switcher as you are supplying more than the needed current. This 13.3K resistor sets the minimum current to the pin. With a 12K resistor you are supply more than the needed current. It will be fine.
