I need the 【Request data】 below.

Could you please confirm and send me the data.

====================

【Request data】

Customer requests us the data of output voltage behavior when the device switch mode changes, Boost mode <=> Buck mode.

Do you have any measured data ?

If possible I would like to have the data of Output Voltage vs Input Voltage Characteristic at the following condition.

<condition 1>

・Vin = 4V ~ 8.4V

・Vout=4.9V

・Iout=1.2A

<condition 2>

 ・Vin = 4V ~ 8.4V

・Vout=5.5V

・Iout=0.85A

 --------------------

【Background 】

Customer will set the output voltage to 4.9V and 5.5V.

Output voltage swing must be inside +/- 200mV when the switching mode changes.

  • Hi,

    I hope you are finding the forum very helpful.  Thank you for using the forum.  I would like to ask that you put more information in your forum subject lines. This will help others in the future if they have a similar question.  One example would be to use “TPS63060 – Vin near Vout behavior”  as the subject rather than just “about TPS63060”   More detailed subject lines are very important to help others know what the forum post is about.

     For these customer specific questions  we have made the EVM.  In this way, you can see for yourself exactly what the converter does in any application situation.  This does not happen by taking data at specific data points and sending it to you.  You really need to look at the device in your application environment.

    That output voltage tolerance is achievable with this device, though it may require adding extra output capacitance.

  • I understood. thank you very much.
