how to power the tps65070 if only the AC5V input

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65070

We are powering tps65070 from 5V applied to the AC pin. Refer the datasheet, we connect the power_on pin to AC5V though 100K resistor. But, tps65070  do not work, and the voltage of the power_on pin is only 0.3V.   how  Should  i check my schematic?

Thanks

  • Hi Qin,

POWER_ON is an input so, the TPS65070 should not pull the POWER_ON pin down. Are you sure that the is 5V at the AC pin? At 5V biased, a 100k pull up should provide enough current to the power_on pin. Check SYS voltage for 3.3V once you verify that AC has 5V.

You said "...tps65070 do not work,...", what exactly is not working for you?
