Can the LP2998 be used terminate 2 chips of DDR3? Specifically looking at the Micron MT41J64M16JT-15E IT:G.

    Hello Overjoyed Android,

    For the DDR3 application of the 8M x 16 x 8 bank device (64M x 16), it looks like there are 21 pins that require termination (16 DQ, 2 LDQS, 2 UDQS and LDM/UDM). The average current per is in the <30 mA range (depending upon term scheme and resistor value) and the device is capable of 1.5 A Vtt current so you should be able to terminate 2 of these mem devices with one LP2998. If you do this however, pay careful attention to thermal management per the Data Sheet guidelines.
