Currently trying to use a LM3481 on an msop-10 adapter to put it on a protoboard. We are trying to build a 24 to 0.8A 48V boost converter for our design project at school. We got the design off of the TI website webench software. We are using resistors and capacitors found in lab, and have bought the transistor, diode, and inductor that was in the parts list for the design provided by TI. We are using a current source as our load.
Problem: The output is not at the specified 48V. The output is showing the input voltage and input current. We measured around with the oscope and didn't find any oscillations to the input of the transistor not on the output.
