Hello. My name is Masahiko Taniguchi and I have been doing some work with the Solar Explorer Kit (Low Voltage). The board does not put out a clean signal and makes a lot of noise when the load is either inductive or capacitive (power factor not equal to 1). Is there an explanation why? (I have tried power factor correction using shunt capacitors on a slightly inductive load and the board worked fine; the values for the capacitors were determined theoretically to correct the power factor to about 1). Is it also possible to perform power factor correction with this board? Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
