Hi,

can you please advise me where to put the chemical fuse on the bq20z65EVM. In the User guide (SLUU353) on page 3 it is stated that 'Fuse placement on the application board is shown in the bq20z65 data sheet reference-board schematic'. Unfortunately, I can not find and schematic where the fuse is actually in the circuit.

Could you please tell me where to but the fuse on the EVM?

    It seems that there is an error that the FUSE placement is not actually shown on the schematic, but the external circuit components required to support the FUSE are shown. The FUSE signal, located at TP3, should be connected to the heater resistor pin on the chemical fuse. The chemical fuse can be placed between the battery stack and the CHG / DSG FETs or between the CHG / DSG FETs and the PACK+ terminal. The EVM does not provide a footprint to place the FUSE for evaluation. The FUSE test point was used to allow the user to evaluate the signal and conditions required to blow the FUSE.We are sorry for the confusion.
