Need help selecting power circuit for DSP design with Class D and analog

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5727, TAS5630

Hello, I am doing a complete TI design with C6748 DSP, TAS5630 class D, TI ADC and DAC and second woofer DAC/Class D TAS5727 . I also need some clean power for the ADC and DAC at 5V and 3.3.

I was wondering if somebody could help me choose the best components for this design. My input is a power brick that has 48VDC at 4A.

My power requirements are as follows:

30-48VDC at .8A to feed FETS of class D amp.

18VDC at 2.5A to feed FET's of second class D amp.

12VDC at 50mA Class D analog

5VDC analog at 275mA DAC analog

3.3VDC at 200mA DSP IO and some analog

1.8VDC at 180mA DSP core voltage

1.3VDC at 700mA DSP core voltage

1.2VDC at 200mA DSP core voltage

Any help would be apprecieated.

  • Hi John,

Sorry for the delay in this response, but hopefully you are still looking for part suggestions for your power rails.

I ran your requirements through our Webench Power Architect and came up with a nice solution, with great efficiency and relatively low BOM cost.
You should have received an email with an invitation to view the project on Webench, and also to play around with it as you'd like.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Best Regards,

    Shashank
