Dear TI FAE
I had refer sluu481 document, the following description was copy form chapter 5.1.12
Bits 12 to 15 (IPScale) are set to 0000 by default by the bq78PL116. These bits can be set to 0001
through a Pack Configuration File (.tmap) generated by the bqWizard.
My application is 150A peak current for engine start BMS.
Can I set the IPScale for high current application?
My bqwizard is 3.2.0.0, does TI bqwizard have new version?
Best Regards.
CC Chen.

You can use the IPScale feature to increase the current handling capability of the device and you can set this up using the Pack Configuration utility in bqWizard. The device can be configured to support up to 327A.
Which version of PL116 firmware are you using? bqWizard 3.2 may be the latest version for the device that you are using.
Regards
Tom
