Trouble generating SENC file for BQ34Z100

I cannot generate a senc file for the BQ34Z100. I always receive a communication error using either the eval board or the target hardware. I have no trouble writing a senc file into the BQ34Z100. Any help would be appreciated.

I tested extracting a senc file and it worked okay. You will get the comm error, if the device is not in ROM mode. You could try reloading the bqEVSW to see if that will help.

Thanks. One more question. Is the state of health register strictly a decrementing value? I have new cells that are not indicating 100% even after a learning cycle.

The SOH is FCC / DesignCapacity, so it can increase if FCC increases. The device does not update DesignCapacity, so maybe the value is set too high.
