I need a 5V precision power source from 24V input. My requirement is 5V/500mA with less than 50mV P-P ripple. I tried with 24V to 6.2V DC-DC conversion and then 6.2V to 5V by using LDO. I am not able to reduce the ripple due to Op-Amp and PNP transistor.
Again i tried with TLV431 shunt regulator as reference and NPN transistor as Pass Element. Still i am not able to reduce the Input Ripple.
Note: Accuracy can be 2%. 5V will be used as ADC reference/Supply and NTC/ Pressure sensor Supply rail.
Can anyone help me on this.
