Does TI (or any company, for that matter) make any ICs that can report the state-of-charge of an 8-cell Lithium Polymer battery? All I have been able to find are ICs that go up to 4 cells for LiPo batteries. If no such chip exists, is there a way to work around this using the ICs that are available?
