Using BQ25504 with a 15cm x 6cm solar 3v to charge 5000mAh

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25504, BQ24650

I need to harvest solar energy to charge a 5000mAh LIPO battery.

I have space around 15cm x 6cm for a solar pannel.

I was thinking of buying a solar panel of 3v of that size and using BQ25504 because it supposed to be a really good harvester.

Should I use this type of a charging IC?  or should i use something like BQ24650. would it be more advantageous if i use a higher voltage for solar  with a different IC? I understand this IC cant take in so much current so I was wondering If I should be worried. But I was thinking 15cm x 6cm 3v solar may not generate more than 400mAps..

I do not have a choice but to use solar because this is a portable application in a forest.

I would be so much gratefull if somone could advice me

thank you so much.

p.s

the datasheet of this IC states that Vin max is 3000mV and Iin(dc) max is 300mA and PIN Input power range for normal charging is 300mW

does than mean  i cannot fix this to a 3V 300mA solar? because the power in will be 900mW?

please help
