Hello , i am ME control system student and i am doing project based on DSP that is A DSP based mppt control of an PV array.
I found that SM72441 suits my to project work . I want to make prototype.
kindly suggest me specifications and Type of PV modules ,DC-DC converter.
Also suggest me SM72441 is suitable for project or not. If anyone have idea about other Suitable DSP for my project then also suggest.
How can i buy DSP and Dc-DC converter.
SM724411 is a configurable 4 switch buck boost controller that is used to convert energy from photovoltaic solar panels to a regulated dc voltage. You need SM72295 as well. I suppose it could work for your project, but you did not provide many details about your project. There are no free samples available. you will have o order the parts form your local distributor.
Sir, I want to make mppt based on DSP. If SM72441 is a configurable buck boost converter then DC-DC converter is required or not? SM72441 & SM72295 suits for lower wattage ratings of solar panels or not? Upto what range of panel wattages we can use these two controllers.
The SM72441 is a buck - boost controller. The SM72295 is the gate driver for the four FET switches. The amount of power will be determined by the FET switches that you choose. Also you can set the max current and voltage levels from from the configurable ports A(n). I do not think you need any additional DSP for this application. All the control circuitry is contained in the SM72441. In my opinion the datasheet is someone "lite". It assumes you are already well versed in MPPT applications.
