The BQEasy got stuck in the discharge cycle in Step5 again. The first Chg/Dchg was done ok. The second Chg was ok, the second Dchg is having issues again. I used the automatic steps, in the middle of the Dchg cycle, a message window pops out stating, "Lost communication.." Then in later trials, the timing dialogue window actually giving instruction on the fly, such as "discharge to 9V" and so on (The minimum discharge voltage should be 8.3V or 8.1V). After that the "Lost communication" dialogue window would appear again. Since the pack is running on a pack cycler overnight sometimes, it can't follow the instructions on the fly. Every time by the end, the BQ chip doesn't respond to any probing. Disconnect the board from the battery for a few days, and reconnect to the battery, it's still good, so that's comforting.
Is the automatic steps supposed to give instructions on the fly? Should someone watching the discharge process to follow instructions? Any suggestions, thanks.
