Hi:

I am using LM1575  DC to Dc converter I connected  Vin 19V and 1A and I got Vout 19V and 1 A. no conversion done. besdies this IC heated and stopped working.

The question is how do i get 5V ,1A power out of this IC. I like to know the max and min value of ( Iin,Iout,Vin,Vout). do I need to use FB pin connected through 200K resistor and all.
