I could not find a pspice model for UCC2806 on TI website. Does anybody know how to get it?

Parveen,
I have forwarded your request to the mosel group.

Hi Praveen,
We do not have a model for UCC2806, but we do have a model for UC1846 which is very close to UCC2806. You can find it here: http://www.ti.com/product/uc1846#simulationmodels.
Best regards,
Thank you for the positive and succinct reply.
Would you please let me know what are the considerations other than power consumption of the IC that are to be noted while using the UC1846 instead of UCC2806.
Praveen,
The ICs are make exactly the same. The testing limits are the only difference. The UC1846 is tested to tighter tolerances so that the device can operate within its specifications over the wider operational temperature range.
John
Thank you.

It appears that there are many differences between both ICs - UC1846 and UC2806, starting from the shutdown pin threshhold voltage.
I'm sorry I misread your question. I thought that you were asking about the differences between the UC1846 and a UC2846.
Your best source for the differences between the UC1846 and the UC2806 will be the Data sheets of each devise.
Regards,
John

Do you have any Pspice model for UCC2806. If so, would you please make it available.
Hi Praveen,
Unfortunately, we do not have any model for UC2806 at this time.
Best regards,
Hi Praveen,
The closest one that I am aware of that also has a model is UC1846. Other UC* Current Mode controllers having models include the UCC3800 family and the UC3813-0 family but these might be a little further away from what you are looking for.
Best regards,
In March 2013, you mentioned there is no spice model for the UCC2806. Have you created one since then? We would be very interested in a model for this part. If you don't have a model for the UCC2806, can you recommend an equivalent part which has a model that I can use?
Thanks,
Nick
