I wanted to test the evaluation board and compare my measurements to those depicted on page 8 of the tps65130 datasheet.
I connected a dc power supply to vin and gnd with j1 and j2 enabled, i enabled enp and psp with jp1 and jp2, and disabled enn and psn with j3 and j4.
I connected a 1k resistor to vpos and gnd and took some measurements, then i unhooked the resistor and placed a 462ohm to take some different measurements and the board stopped functioning.
I am trying to understand how this damaged the board and what steps I need to take in the future to avoid the same result.
