Hi team,
A keypad matrix (5 buttons) is connected to the keypad controller module which is interfaced with the OMAP3530 processor. I have few basic doubts regarding the key scanning methodology and reading its register values. Hardware scanning option is selected.
1. For example after a key press, an interrupt is generated and the register value (FULL_CODE_7_0) is read. How long does the register holds the value and how it is cleared? Will the value gets clear automatically after read operation?
2. I don't require Multi-key functionality, is there any way to disable the feature?
3. Assume when one of the key has become faulty and struck. upon another key press.. does the register holds the value of both the faulty and new key? (provided a single row is used to arrange all the keys in the matrix)
