TPS54622 in SwitcherPro?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54622, TPS54620

Hi, I'd like to view loop characteristics in SwitcherPro for the TPS54622. The datasheet says "Supported by SwitcherPro™ Software Tool", however I can't find this device in the device list in SwitcherPro. Any ideas? Devices with identical loop characterstics?

  • Switcherpro software is no longer in development, the TPS54622 datasheet may reference it, but the TPS54622 will not bee added.  It is mostly similar to the TPS54620, but the reference voltage is 0.8 V for TPS54620 rather than 0.6 V for TPS54622, so the loop characteristics will be different.  Webench is now the officially supportrd tool.  You can use that (although the loop analysis tools are not as powerful as switcherpro) or you can use the pspice average model from teh product folder.  Personally, I prefer pspice modeling for loop analysis.  I use it for most of my converter designs.
