Design Capacity to low on bq34z100

I'm planning on using a bq34z100 and accompanying software and I find that the design capacity is to low for my battery which is rated at 40Ahr. The pdf documentation says the bq34z100 supports battery capacities above 65Ahr. I noticed in the documentation that there is a X10 mode. If I set this bit, do I then enter in "4000" into the design capacity register which will then be evaluated as as "40,000" because it is scaled by 10?
