hi,

When using the TPS63020 at back-boost design,  the web bench software and at the data sheet it is recommend to use coil craft family of  XFL4020. can any one recommend on other brand (WURTH, BOURNS etc..) coil p/n for this application?

input 3.3-4.2V, output 3.8V , 2A (for GPRS supply)

    You can use any inductor of the same general specification. Get the Inductance value, saturation current, RMS current and DCR from the coilcraft inductor.  Then choose a similar inductor from the vendor of your choice.  For example the Wurth PN for 2.2 uH is 74437324022.  You can look in that 74437324 series for other values, although the Coilcraft is slightly better rated.  Many inductors have exact cross references while the manufactures have manly slight variations is case size and electrical characteristics to differentiate their products.
