I am making a synchronous boost converter prototype using LM 2726 as the driver and IRLR7807ZPBFCT-ND from IR as the high and low side MOSFETs, but somehow I got ringing around 150mV in the output voltage during switching even without turning on the input power supply. What I did was simply providing PWM to the driver input. The driver was powered by 5V VCC. Also, the Vgs for both MOSFETs were not very clean, there was a very short period of ringing also. I am wondering if it is as a result of too fast turn on and turn off of the MOSFETs since these MOSFETs require pretty low gate charge like 11nC while the driver can supply as high as 3A peak current to the MOSFETs. Thanks in advance for your help!
Attached waveform were obtained when no input voltage was supplied,
1. The first figure shows two drive signals and output voltage.
2.The second and third figures show zoomed-in view of two drive signals and output voltage during switching.
