Unable to get the remaining capacity-bq2084

Hello,

I'm currently working with bq2084 and its reference design shown in the datasheet.

I've got voltage and current and all others datas through SMBus but bq2084 seems to be unable to show me remaining capacity.It's not updated in the appropriate windows in TI software.

Is this a known problem?Do you have any idea which can help me?

    Hi Bernard,

    The bq2084 is a CEDV device and as such the CEDV parameters would need to be programmed appropriately inorder for the device to work propely. Download the mathcad CEDV software on TI's webpage for the bq2084 and read the power point presentation " simple guide to CEDV parameters calculation in Mathcad" contained in the folder to know how to obtain the parameters.
