We have TMS320F2808 now controlling a power converter. Need much improved system: Some considerations
-there were some issues with ADC.. SO added key current mode/PID control in analog. The duty cycle correcting value is fed to the ADC while before they were doing the c/m through coding. Got very slow & problematic.
- perhaps should go for floating point dsp
- there is a need for providing all monitoring functions of converter to a host ......such as Enable/disable, temp, load current, OV/UV, etc...Preferred method will be through Ethernet. Also prefer a "std IO code pkg" that we can just use from a "library"
- implement the SYS/BIOS
Also: will model system and all other Real Time code using matlab/RTW and use that code in CCS
which dsp will be most suitable to get all these done?
