I would like to use the BQ24640 in an application with a low Icharge current of 1A. The datasheet only really mentions a sense resistor of 10mR and currents above 2A, but I believe I could achieve the 1A Icharge current by increasing the sense resistor to 40mR (and changing the Iset voltage divider), this would give a sense voltage of 40mV leading to current regulation accuracy of /- 3%.
Are there any potential problems when using the BQ24640 at these small currents?
