TPS40200 Datasheet description

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40200

Hi,

I'd like to ask about the defference between the figure 25 and 29 in  TPS40200 Datasheet as follows,

(please refer the attached jpg file)

1. Do the "Vss" in Figure 25 and the "Vsst" in Figure 29 mean the same thing ?

2. Do the resistor of 100kΩ in Figure 25 and the 105kΩ in Figure 29 mean the same thing ?

(as the internal soft start pull-up resistance?)

3. Why are the offset voltage values between Figure 25 and 29 different? Is it a typo?

Thanks,

Go

  • Hi Go,

Thank you for the questions. The answer to all three is Yes. Vss and Vsst are the same thing, the value in Figure 25 should be 105kΩ based on the electrical specifications table, and I see no other mention of 300mV within the document so this should be 700mV.

I think most of these errors were caused from changes as the part was finalized and characterized but the figures were not updated to match the electrical specifications. I will submit to have these errors fixed.

    Best Regards,
    Anthony

  • Hi, Anthony
