LM3410X cutoff

We are running a 1923Hz PWM signal straight from a mcu to the DIM pin of the LM3410X. The amplitude is 2.8V and the pin has a 10k pulldown resistor. When the period gets down to about 20us (around 4% duty cycle) the LM3410X turns off. This is a problem as we are using several LM 3410X for color mixing. Is this behaviour to be expected? Is there anything we can do to improve this? (Lowering the PWM frequency is not an option because of flicker)
