I am designing a smart battery pack using the bq34z100 as the gas gauge solution. I purchased the bq34z100EVM for testing purposes and successfully tested the chip's capabilities by using the bqEVSW as well as custom code written for an Arduino. I've now designed a prototype board but am having trouble understanding the documentation regarding flashing the initial values onto the bq34z100 chip. The "Going to Production with the bq34z1xx" manual indicates that custom code and a user implemented programming platform can be used, or the TI "bq Multi Station Tester" program. Is it not possible to use the bqEVSW to flash initial values onto the new bq34z100 chip that is on my prototype board? I saved the flash parameters I used on the evaluation module in a bqEVSW "*.gg" file so this would be more convenient than writing my own code.
Thanks in advance.
