BQ500211A "ready to go out of the box"?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ500211A

Hi,

I have 2 questions:

- Is the BQ500211A "ready to go out of the box" if I make a schematic and PCB as on page 20 in the datasheet? No programming needed? (the low cost version).

- Is there a program to control the low power supervisor on page 19? Or is it also ready to go? (page 19 schematic, low standby power)

/CWilson.

UPDATE!

I got all my answers in: http://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/wireless_power/f/693/t/103422.aspx

The low power version uses an MSP430 to reduce power during sleep.  The bq500211A will program the MSP430 at first time power up. No programming before build is required.
