TPS2540A - Does this device improve the eye pattern?

Hi,

My customer evaluates the "TUSB1210 + TPS2540A" by the following circuit (circuit 1).

However, eye pattern does not open enough.

Is it correctable by a function of TPS2540A?

(The eye pattern opens enough by circuit 2.)

< circuit 1>

TUSB1210 -> TPS2540A (CDP mode) -> USB connector

* TPS2540A is used for the detection of USB charging Port.

TUSB1210 -> USB connector

* Eye pattern opens when I don’t connect TPS2540A.

Please try to resend the circuit and EYE plots as they did not come through in this post.

FYI, TPS2540A should only degrade the eye pattern minimally as shown in the datasheet (figure 18, 19).
