I am R K Srivastava from India. We are trying to develop regulated DC power supply for BLDC motor fans. Input varies from 55V to 90V and output voltage requirement is 72V. If LM5575 is used, its input voltage is 75 V. My question is: Can we divide the input voltage into two half using two series resistances of (say) 10kOhm and then connect two LM5575 across each resistance so that output of each LM5575 is around 36V each. These two outputs, can we again connect in series to get 72 V regulated power supply with input voltage 55V to 90 V?
