Is bq24201 will work on USB port?

Hello, my project requires a single 18650 battery and I want to design a charging circuit with minimum parts. Is bq24201 will work on usb port? I am open to other options. Thanks!

    Hello Li,

    If you are using the USB port for charging, the BQ241xx may be a better choice but it depends entirely on your application and setup.

    You can also try the Battery Charger Management Selection Tool. http://focus.ti.com/en/download/aap/selectiontools/battery-chargers/tool.htm

    If your application has some special conditions, then please specify them and that way the best charger can be selected.

    Yes but you will not need the tracking feature of the bq24201.  There are likely better choices such as bq2404x or bq2409x or bq2407x families, depending on your exact system requirements.
