Í'm trying to find an "all-in-one" solution for managing two LiPo-cells in series. The problem is, that I can't see the wood for the trees anymore, because there are so many options. I can't find a single IC that does everything, but using multiple IC's results in double functionality. Or the IC is only usable for Li-ion batteries, and I do not know if they can be used for LiPo batteries.
The functionality I'm searching for is:
- Balance the two LiPo cells
- Protect the individual LiPo cells from overvoltage (4.200V)
- Protect the individual LiPo cells from undervoltage (3.00V)
- Protect the LiPo cells from a short circuit
- Low battery alert
Is there anyone who has experience with this problem and can possibly help me?
