Hi alI am in the process of reading the safety histories from some battery pack that were used in the field but I am confused as to how the time stamp is incremented. The battery packs incorporate the bq78pl114 battery management controller. I understand that the time stamp is the numerical value in hours but I am still confused. The reason being is that the battery packs have been standing on the shelf for at least 1 month now and the time stamp has only been incrementated by one hour plus the battery packs have been in the field for much longer than the time stamp states. I am not sure if the time stamp only increases when there is an activity. Can somebody please assist me with this problem. Thanks.
