Dear sir,
I am using IRFP4321 in full bridge resonance DC-DC converter.
Specifications: I/P=60-92VDC, O/P=13.5V,80Amp, Power=1100W
PWM IC=UC28950. Driver IC=iR2010S
Test conditions:
1. During testing initially dead time was set at 300ns. In no load condition mosfet was failed.
Failed components: Two upper Mosfets (Mosfets gate,drine,source was shorted), Hi side gate drive of IR2010S (Ir2010 is drawing current).
With new mosfets again i tested and it was OK up to 20 Amp o/p current. But during switch off time mosfets are gone again.
2. After that dead time was increased to 1000ns . In no load condition mosfets are failed.
Failed components: Two upper Mosfets (Mosfets gate,drine,source was shorted), Hi side gate drive of IR2010S was failed but low side signals are coming (Ir2010 is drawing current).
Question:
Can i use IRFP4321 for resonance application. Please advice me what may be the problem. Presently i am using UC28950 in voltage mode
