Hi,
TPS2543 supports iPad(2A), can TPS2543 support iPad(2.4A)?
(Will "Divider 2" allow charging iPad devices at 2.4A?)
"iPad(2.4A) = 5.2V/2.4A" is a new standard of Apple Inc.

Hi,Milo
Thank you for the information.
I have four questions I want to ask.
[Q1]
Does TPS2543 confine "charging current" to 1.0A if I change TPS2543 from divider 2 to divider 1(CTL1=1 , CTL=2=0 , CLT3=1)?
[Q2]
When "ipad of full charge" is connected, does TPS2543 maintain divider 1 ?
Because there is little "charging current", I think that I don't turn into divider 2.
[Q3]
If "charging current" is less than 750mA when I charge ipad, does TPS2543 turn into divider 1 from divider 2?
[Q4]
Are there the results that TPS2543 charged a product of Apple?
(iphone4 , iphone5 etc..)

Kanemaru

[Milo] TPS2543 (CTL1/2/3=101), it is configured as Divider 1 mode (D+/D- is fixed at 2.0V/2.7V), plug in iPhone or iPad, maximum charging current is 1A.
[Q2]

[Milo] Yes
[Q3]

[Milo] There is some hysteresis, the charging current of divider 2 back to divier 1 is around 650mA.
[Q4]

(iphone4 , iphone5 etc..)
[Milo] You mean charging wave?
Hi,Milo
Thank you for your prompt reply.

[kanemaru] I want the list of apple products which you have measured.
