bq32z110EVM PACK-, BAT- and system Ground connections

We're using the bq34z110EVM board.

The I2C communication uses the Bat_minus as its reference point.

At the load, only the Pack_minus is available, so that when using the communications at the load circuit both grounds are shorted together, and the current sense resistor is bypassed.

We can solve this is three ways:

1. Switch the connections of BAT- and PACK- ? e.g. connect the battery Minus to TB3.3 (Originally PACK-) and connect the Load ground to TB3.2 (Originally BAT-). As the voltage measured on R30 will be inverted, we can change the sign of CC gain flash value.

2. Design a new gauge circuit and use PACK- as it's ground.

3. Connect the load I2C reference to PACK_minus instead of to the board`s ground. In this case a voltage drop between the two reference points will arise dependent on load current.

Please advise as to the right solution (from the above or other).

Thanks, Isak.
