Hi ,
Im using TPS61165 for giving LCD backlight. Im using it in Easyscale mode and Im able to write to the registers with some values according to which the brightness is being controlled. But at some point , in between the EasyScale data format, unfortunately the pulse stays low for more than 2.5ms and then the remaining data comes.
The processor gives commands(in EasyScale) even after this thinking that it has not gone to Shutdown mode. What I can see is that after this scenario, the backlight stops responding and retains the last brightness level before the low pulse(>2.5ms) come. This means after shut down also it is in Easyscale mode. But according to datasheet, PWM mode is the default mode. If that mode was activated the brightness would have gone to full brightness rather than sustaining the last brightness.
Requesting explanations and suggestions on ,what made the controller maintain the last state even after coming out from the shutdown mode.
Waveform observed at the CTRL pin is attached.
