Error while calibrating bq20z65EVM with the bqEVSW program

I have the bq20z65EVM gas gauge and tried to use the bqEVSW program to perform the necessary calibrations. However, after I enter the measured values and hiot "calibrate" I get an error message. The error says Error 5024: calibration failed. Does anyone know what causes this error to occur? I also wanted to double check the setup I have on the bq20z65EVM. I have the SMBus going to the EV2400 to the PC. The 2A source from 1N (-) to PACK- (+) terminals as described in the documentation. A power supply (~15 V) attached to the PACK+ and PACK- terminals. A switch from PACK- to SYSPRES terminals. And the battery hooked up as described for a 3 -cell pack.
