TPS62090 outputting 0V

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62060

Dear TI,

We are using TPS62090RGTT regulator. We are design the circuit using the Web bench design referred by your TI.We are giving 3.4 to 5V as a input. We need 3.3 V , 1.3A as a output. But we are getting 0V in the output side and all other the pins except cp(4.4V),avin,pvin,en(5V) getting 0 V.I have attached our schematic and Layout diagram please find and kindly provide your solutions for the same.

Regards,

Naveen K

  • You will need to make sure your board was assembled correctly and with no solder shorts.  These are the most common reasons for seeing 0V at the output.

Your board layout does not follow any of the recommendations for a good power supply layout, so I expect you will have layout issues.  I suggest ordering the EVM to test a known good circuit and layout.

The TPS62060 is a lower current device which is smaller and meets your power needs.
