TPS40200 OC Error

Hi, Anthony

It seems to be I have got a problem of OC error, but I have already disabled the current limit function.  And I have test the voltage on the Vss pin, it reachs 8V when 

the load is light. However, it goes to zero when the load is heavy, apparently the output also goes to zero and this process is infinite.

I doubt whether it is the noise on the power line which is about 200mV more or less triggered the  OC error or not .

I have no idea about what is going on, and I hope you can help me to figure it out!

    Hi Sue,

    I have a few questions first to understand the conditions.

    Can you share your schematic please? Also what is the input voltage, output voltage and what is a heavy load? Lastly, does the SS pin voltage look similar to what is shown in Figure 26 of the TPS40200 datasheet?
