Need Battery protection IC for Lithium phosphate

Hi,

customer is using BQ24620 for charging Li phosphate , also they are looking for battery protection ICs.

i have proposed BQ77190A  , As it is mention in BQ77190(obsolete) as all li ion systems support.

but nothing about phosphate support in BQ77190A. kind advice any suggestion to support.

any details required, kindly let me know.

    Could you provide more details on your battery system? How many series and parallel cells? What is your operating voltage range? What is your discharge current and operating profile?

    Knowing the system details as Tom suggests will allow best selection of possible devices.

    The bq77910A does have protection ranges which extend to values appropriate for  Li phosphate cells.  If a standalone protector is the desired system function, check the datasheet to be sure the ranges include the customer's desired settings.
