UCC28070 1.2KW PFC problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28070

Hi All

Is there anyone who can help me on the way to a solution of this problem?

During testing of my 1.2KW interleaved PFC with UCC28070 I see this phenomenon at a load of approx. 600W.

When the line voltage reaches its max. level p/p is the pulse width uneven, with the result that every third current pulse becomes very large. The problem is related to the input voltage on the line, as it only occurs In the high voltage range 230V.

I ‘we tried to lower the gain in the current loop and moved the upper 3 db point down. It has an effect but the problem returning again with a slightly higher output power.

C1: Drain B., C2: CSA, C3: rectified DC, C4: AC input current .
