During my testing, the charging LED (Pin 8) started to blink whenever I connect the USB. What does this mean?

The charge LED indicates when in charge mode so a flashing LED indicates that it is going in and out of charge mode.
Check the 5V input and make sure it is not dropping out. Adjust the ILIM resistor so the charger can't pull more than the USB source can supply.

Hi Charles,
Is there anyway to have the LED blink with the BQ24090 charging correctly?
Thank you,
